Task Management with the Help of Your Phone
Overwhelmed by your to-do list? Tired of forgetting important tasks? We all get busy and forget every now and then. Try using your phone for more than just talking. Setting reminders on your phone can help you keep track of smaller tasks. Unlike a list, your phone can feed reminders to you one at a time. Choose an application that will sync to your computer and phone. The great thing about a reminder is that it won’t let you forget. It’ll continue to alert you until you actually make it go away! So make sure that whenever you enter a reminder, you include a specific time when you want to be reminded. It’s okay to snooze the alerts, but at least this way they won’t just fall off the list until they’re actually done. But remember, make sure you don’t actually dismiss something that hasn’t been done. Oh…and you might want to turn on the “do not disturb” setting during any important engagements otherwise you might be tempted to dismiss them just to get them out of your way. Happy tasking!
A great book on time management is Eat That Frog. Have you read it? What did you take from it?
Tony Robbins shares in the video below how transformation starts when we stop trying to get and we start to give. Transform by giving? If the secret to living is giving then why aren’t more of us doing it? Maybe it’s because when we’re unhappy within we aren’t focusing on anything other than ourselves. How can we ever expect to find happiness and success in life when we aren’t able to take our eyes off of what we aren’t getting?

You’ll get humbled right before you’re blessed. It’s just a test to make sure you can handle what’s next.
I may not be Kim Kardashian but I do know a lot about how to take the perfect selfie. I’ve done my share of them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram throughout my physical transformation. I will admit, they were fun and even kept me accountable in my weight loss journey. But what they didn’t reveal was the emotions that were going on inside of me, therefore, leaving out why I was posting them to begin with.

Do you ever feel like you’re finally taking a step in the right direction? That’s what I’ve personally been feeling lately. It seems like I’ve encountered so many trials this past year and I’ve often found myself questioning why I had to go through them. As positive as I like to be, I am human and if I’m not careful I can have a tendency to look back and dwell on the past but I have decided it’s time to take a step in the right direction! So…FROM THIS DAY FORWARD….
